Goldendoodles are the Spice of Life

Goldendoodles seem to be causing many of our clients lately to be laughing themselves silly.   Why, you ask ?   It appears that our Goldendoodle World  low shedding hybrids have the knack for giving our clients the reason to live again and laugh again when they are at their lowest peak in life.

One of our clients husband had passed away,  not long ago.  Her world felt like it was falling apart piece by piece.  Had it not been for her loving Goldendoodle at her side to help comfort her,  she would not have known what to do.   This loving dog with the sparkling eyes and the face that seemed to always be smiling at her, changed her life forever.  For the better.   As a wriggling puppy,  he settled in her home in the best possible way,   in her unsettled life.   She was  going through some trying times,  but wanted to bring some happiness back into her life.   But what her Goldendoodle  had lacked in size as a puppy,  he  made up for in personality.

Our Goldendoodles are full of themselves with their antics!  Regardless of coat type,  each one will keep you busy!  Puppies will cause you to chase after them every single day and it seems like they are a  ‘round the clock adventure.    When you spend time taking care of a Goldendoodle,  it does help  take your mind off of your other worries.  Our client felt like a mother again.  She spent quite a bit of time coddling her new puppy and buying goodies for him.  Taking care of her doodle,  helped ease her heartache and pain of losing her husband.

She decided to try obedience school for her Goldendoodle but the first class she placed him in,  the instructor was so tough that her doodle went into total meltdown.  Like a loving mother,  she picked him up and coddled him and took him home.   Goldendoodles are softies.  These type of dogs do not  do well with tough love training. Goldendoodles are better students with obedience instructors who use  positive training reinforcement methods.   Our client never went back to her original class.  Instead,  she enrolled her doodle into a new class with a different instructor where he could shine.

Goldendoodles are eager to please.  They are loving,  giving dogs if you allow them to be whom they really are.  Don’t force a Goldendoodle into something they are not.  A Goldendoodle is not a watch dog,  although they will alert you that someone is approaching your home or at  your doorstep.  They are also not aggressive dogs.   Never scold your doodle in a harsh manner.   You can intimate your doodle and cause your loving dog to become fearful.   Our client said they were inordinately fortunate to have been given a wonderful experience of unconditional love.   We hear that quite often from those who have been happy with the dogs that they have purchased from us.

Love comes in many shapes, colors and sizes.  Love comes in many forms.  Love comes from humans,  but love also comes from our dogs.  Love can be a true divine intervention.  I believe that many times,  divine intervention brings our Goldendoodles and clients together.  I do believe that.  Angels come in many forms whether we believe it or not.   It was sad that our client’s husband passed away.  But our Goldendoodle brought love back into her heart and was able to help her heart heal.  Her doodle was able to help her smile when sadness was at times,  too much to bare.  Whatever it takes,  sometimes a Goldendoodle can be magical.  They can teach us healing and they can teach us something about ourselves that perhaps we didn’t even know.  Perhaps they may give us a gift of life that we so often take for granted.
